Materials Desk

Contact Avery Dennison for samples, specs, and engineer reviews

Reach the team that maps wrap films, window tint systems, and bonding tapes to your substrate list, fire resistance rating targets, and LEED credit intent.

How the materials desk works

Three clear channels for specification support

Use the channel that matches your project stage. Early design teams usually start with sample kits and UV stability guidance; late-stage teams send fire resistance rating language and VOC emissions limits already written into the project manual.

Address

Avery Dennison Building Materials Desk
8080 Norton Parkway
Mentor, OH 44060, USA

Visitors by appointment can review facade mock-up boards, window tint constructions, and bonding tape coupons against aluminum composite, glass, and painted steel substrates.

Phone & Email

Email remains the preferred path for drawings, glass schedules, and LEED worksheets that compare recycled content percentage and embodied carbon notes across alternate film stacks.

Hours

Monday–Friday
08:00–17:30 Eastern Time
Sample kit dispatch within 3 business days on stocked constructions

Urgent punch-list questions about abrasion resistance laminates or moisture vapor transmission at window film edges are triaged the same business day when submitted before 15:00 ET.

When to choose film overlays versus natural finishes

Owners sometimes ask whether architectural wrap colors can replace natural stone or painted metal on a schedule-driven renovation. Avery Dennison does not position films as a universal substitute for quarried materials on civic landmarks that require geological permanence. We do support engineered film overlays when tenant turnover, reversible brand environments, or solar-control window tint retrofit programs need documented dimensional stability and service life expectancy without a full re-clad.

If your brief is design-led, bring the brand palette and traffic map. If it is performance-led, bring wind, fire, and IAQ constraints up front. The contact form below routes either path to a materials engineer who will say when a bonding tape assists cladding attachment—and when structural fasteners must carry the load alone.

What to include in your inquiry

  • Substrate type and surface condition
  • Elevation exposure and climate zone
  • Fire resistance rating or IAQ constraints
  • Desired Avery Dennison wrap colors or window tint VLT range
  • Quantity, timeline, and delivery region

Responses typically include a shortlist, indicative Avery Dennison wrap price drivers, and whether a physical sample kit is recommended before mock-up.
